Patel Motel
Patel Motel, a Kailasa productions series which is Cpics original that will premier on the platform. Cpics is an upcoming platform focused on South Asian characters and stories.
The show is about an Indian family that moves to California after buying a run down motel in the middle of nowhere and the nightmare that follows.
The show aims to connect with the Indian as well as Indian American audiences who are currently dominating the digital space. We believe in creating slice of life stories that represent on screen the consumers who are influencing the subscriber market.
As South Asia pushes for more subscriber base, we believe more content focused on South Asian stories will be needed to win the OTT/SVOD race.
And we want to become the leaders of content creation geared towards this market.
Meet the Singh's
Told from the perspective of an unseen documentary filmmaker, the series offers an honest, often-hilarious perspective of three different Indian American families. Mr and Mrs Singh are trying to navigate their way through a retired life which they never really prepared for till now. Working their entire life they planned for their American dream but not what happens in their retirement.
Simran (their daughter) and her husband Veer are happily married with two kids. They are trying to strike a balance for their children where they want to make sure the kids don’t forget about their own culture but they also want to offer them the freedom to enjoy their American lifestyle. But a daughter who is trying to grow up too fast, and their son who is too smart for his own good make it challenging.
Simran’s brother Partap who lives with his boyfriend Jamie are trying to get their parents blessings, completing one big -- straight, gay, multicultural, traditional -- happy family.

Indian Legends is a podcast dedicated to the stories and life journey's of some of the most iconic Legends, folklore and history from the Indian Subcontinent.
Through these podcasts we hope to bring the most interesting stories from India to the world. We want to connect the younger audiences from India to their culture through podcast episodes and eventually animation so that the history can be preserved to be passed on to the future generations.
Through this Podcast, we aim to create a strategic IP that can be expanded into digital animation content that can eventually be used for narrative content and shared with the whole world.
